Capitano Kooper

Captain Kooper is a brand born from a wonderful idea conceived by Andrea Gallottini, a distillation technician who honed his skills gaining experience in various realities across the national territory. Eager to realize a quite challenging dream, he decided to invest all his time and energy to create a unique and distinctive production. 
 

Captain Kooper: it all starts from a sailing boat
 

That's right, the idea to create the Captain Kooper brand came during a sailing trip between Andrea and some of his friends, who encouraged him to embark on this wonderful adventure and start a gin production. The story is quite curious: they were docked in Capodistria, which is called Koper in Slovenian, and it was precisely at that moment that the name "Captain Kooper" was born, symbolizing the crowning of his dream. 
The production of these fantastic distillates has been carefully studied just like the selection of ingredients. Rare and sought-after spices, Italian botanical specialties like Juniper, orange, coriander, Florence iris, wormwood, and gentian are used. These delights are macerated in a solution of alcohol and water and are then distilled to extract the precious distillate. After a maturation period, they are brought to the right alcohol content before being bottled. 
 

Captain Kooper: a truly niche product
 

A peculiar feature of this brand is the exclusive packaging, as the glass is handcrafted and then meticulously hand-decorated, bottle by bottle. Another key strength of his GinKooper is its scent, very intense, almost reaching balsamic sensations which, together with the smoothness on the palate, contrast with the significant alcohol content.
The production of Captain Kooper is truly unique, just like its two products: GinKooper and AmaroKooper, both characterized by an extremely genuine, intense, and sensational taste.
