The new gravitational winery of 30,000 m3, completed in 2020, allows for a modern and effective processing of grapes. Kellerei St. Michael Eppan can optimize diversification and work individually on the different qualities in very short times to preserve the quality of the fruit.

Kellerei St. Michael Eppan is passionately dedicated to creating great white and red wines, a perfect synthesis of this fantastic terroir that allows the cultivation of various excellent grape varieties. The cooperative brings together about 340 families of grape growers scattered in different locations on the outskirts of Bolzano. The vineyards cover a total of 380 hectares in areas with different characteristics, mostly located in the municipality of Appiano.
In the winery, the metamorphosis of the grape occurs. A combination of ancient and innovative winemaking techniques. The "respect for the fruit" is the most important rule for producing long-lived wines with great personality. The production, entirely guided by Kellermeister Hans Terzer, is planned through the study and enhancement of each single vineyard. The fermentations take place in steel, with aging that can also be done in large oak barrels or barriques. From Gewürztraminer to MüllerThurgau, from Sauvignon to Riesling, from Pinot Bianco to Lagrein, each bottle is a perfect synthesis of the varietal from which it originates. Fresh and vibrant wines, characterized by a clear territorial reference and an astonishing average quality.
