Azienda Agricola Buscaroli

My name is Massimo, and since 2002, immediately after obtaining my diploma as an agricultural technician, I have been running the family-owned farm. It is a small area of 17 hectares of land located in a completely flat zone in the municipality of Castel Guelfo di Bologna.

The history of the farm dates back to 1954 when my grandfather Mario was assigned the CA’ ROSSA LAND in Castel Guelfo di Bologna by his father.
Initially, wheat and vineyards covered almost the entire area, and oxen and horses were an irreplaceable help in the fields.

In the 1970s, Mario, with the help of his son Romano, decided to modernize and mechanize it.

Then it was my turn: I directed the farm towards fruit cultivation, which is what I am most passionate about.
In 2008, I managed to build a new warehouse with refrigeration cells and a shop, which allows me to distribute my products directly to customers, even during the winter season.

Our goal is to provide tasty and nutritious fruit and vegetables.
We cultivate more than 20 varieties of peaches and nectarines, along with apricots, apples, pears, and plums, all available for direct sale. We are expanding the area dedicated to vegetables, thus trying to diversify our product offerings as much as possible.

Our aim is to obtain a product with very low chemical residues; indeed, the analyses support us. The bees in our fields are doing well, demonstrating that we strive to be respectful of nature and sustainable whenever possible.
