The company was founded in 1956 thanks to the passion of Paolo Mazzotti and the production of fine grapes. Over the years, with the contribution of technology and the work of Andrea, Paolo's son, the company has perfected itself and increasingly focused on quality.
Exceptional wines from the heart of Sardinia
The line of wines Conte de Quirra is inspired by the homonymous medieval Castle of Quirra, located on the eastern coast of Sardinia, near the sea. Here, with meticulous care, the fine grapes are harvested by hand and transferred to the winery for a gentle pressing. From the traditional vineyards of the company, authentic wines are born, such as Cannonau, Monica obtained from the small old vineyard, and Sangiovese with coarse grains, each carrying an exceptionally high quality expressed in the sublime reds of Conte de Quirra.
Conte de Quirra: elegance and refinement with the Dama Nera
Among the new gems of the company stands out the Vermentino, which elegantly dresses the Dama Nera. This exceptional wine is characterized by its special processing and aging in old oak barrels, giving life to the prestigious "Dama Nera Superiore." Only a limited number of bottles are kept for 4 months horizontally in the villa's cellar before commercialization. A true delight for the most refined palates. The Mazzotti company is synonymous with quality in the wine and viticulture sector.
