Adami spumanti

In Colbertaldo di Vidor, among the hills of Prosecco Superiore, lies the beautiful wine estate of the Adami family. A historic Prosecco winery.

Founded in 1920 by Abele Adami, the first vineyard he vinified was Le Rive. A very steep calcareous amphitheater that produces grapes of the highest quality. He separated the grapes from this vineyard from all the others, and for the first time a Prosecco was the result of a single varietal. Glera has always been the determining grape of this denomination, although in the older vineyards, you can still find Verdiso vines even today.

Today, Adami represents one of the most renowned realities of the Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG. Over the years, it has rightfully earned its place on the podium of quality producers. Winner of awards at international competitions since its inception, it has established itself in the most important Italian and foreign guides. Every year, Tre Bicchieri, 5 grappoli, Corone, and 90 points on Wine Spectator represent the constant quality pursued over time by the family and recognized by experts and critics from all over the world.

Today, Franco and Armando represent the new generation that is guiding the adventure on the hills of Colbertaldo into the future, aided by their children. Franco deserves great credit for leading the Prosecco denomination to DOCG status and the Valdobbiadene and Conegliano Prosecco Superiore denomination. A tremendous coordination effort that has allowed the denomination to adorn itself with the recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
