It is a vinegar with intense scents and aromas, very mellow, with an excellent sweet and sour balance, dense and harmonious. Its density makes it particularly pleasant and velvety. A slight spiciness makes it even more intriguing.
Acetaia VETUS is located in the Modenese countryside and Nonantola, not far from the famous Romanesque Abbey. It is a family-run Agricultural company that has been producing Balsamic Vinegar of Modena for over 30 years using traditional methods and with full respect for nature.
The artisanal dimension of the Company allows for direct and constant attention to the product: from the vineyard to the processes in the Acetaia, up to bottling, all stages are followed with passion and the satisfaction of doing things well.
Definitely interesting with red meats, roasts, grilled fish, and aged cheeses. It can also be paired with some jams like plums and red fruits.
And, if like us you have no prejudices, dried fruits such as walnuts and almonds. Additionally, on a good Tonda Gentile delle Langhe IGP hazelnut ice cream.
