The cherries are a delight from the province of Verona and a product recognized for its sweetness and crunchiness.
An extraordinary territory to the east of the city of Verona in a valley famous for the Amarone della Valpolicella and the great Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The cherry trees here are centuries old, and when they bloom, the valley is covered with white buds that scatter across the intense green of the landscape.
The oldest cherry is purplish in color and particularly large. Here we have chosen two types of cherries: the more common red and juicy ones measuring less than 26mm and the larger ones with a size greater than 26mm.
Acidity and sweetness, along with crunchiness and an intense and persistent flavor, are the characteristics of the cherries from this valley!
Orto2000 stands out for its product quality and efforts to ensure adequate biodiversity in a territory where vineyards, olive trees, and cherry trees represent the historically predominant mix. Cultivation techniques that safeguard nature and the soil, ensuring the consumer perfect product safety. High quality for a company that has also decided to save the Pisello di Colognola ai Colli, an ancient legume commonly called "biso" and in plural "Bisi de Colognola ai Colli"...
