Sausage is one of the most common and well-known cured meats of Italian tradition, particularly in Southern Italy. The sausage from the Giannelli family contains wild fennel typical of the Mediterranean scrub and garlic, which, in addition to having a significant aromatic character, also has a very important preservative value. This sausage contains no preservatives or antioxidants. It is produced with 100% Italian meat sourced from pigs raised in Roccia di Ariano Irpino in the province of Avellino. As a preservative, honey is used, which, contrary to popular belief, does not add sweetness but only has an antibacterial function. Free from lactose and Gluten Free. Garlic is a natural preservative and in this sausage it is paired with wild fennel. Its flavor characterizes the cured meat without, however, losing balance and elegance. It is sharper and more intense and tells of a more genuine local tradition. Also in this case, the sausage is ideal for accompanying appetizers, to be placed on pizzas and focaccias. Perfect when paired with fresh cherry tomatoes on croutons or on classic Pugliese frise.
