The Herb Pancetta by Giannelli is rich in aromas and flavors from the herbs it has been aged with for 6 months. The cured meat is velvety and firm with a beautifully balanced fattiness. It pleases the palate with its melt-in-your-mouth and creaminess that it expresses as soon as it reaches body temperature. Excellent whether sliced thinly on toasted bread while still warm or in cubes for delicious and fragrant pasta dishes. Also great for elegant aperitifs. The streaks of pancetta are beautiful and well-distributed. A cured meat to pair with red wines like Chianti or Sangiovese from Maremma.
