The hazelnuts are cultivated and processed at the La Peracca farm, while the other ingredients are produced in the Piedmont area or nationally.

The History of Brutti e Buoni

The history of Brutti e Buoni begins during the fascinating period of the Belle Epoque in a refined pastry shop in Gavirate, Lombardy. Their creator, Costantino, took care of the smallest details and in 1910, on the advice of Count Teofilo Rossi, owner of the Martini and Rossi company and mayor of Turin, registered the "patent for company trademark" that is still depicted on the elegant Art Nouveau-style paper, distinctive and not imitable, that wraps these sweets in pairs.
Brutti e Buoni are Lombard-Piedmontese as it was thanks to the mayor of Turin that they found a commercial outlet and especially consolidation in the Piedmont dry pastry of the Royal House.
