Quinoa 180g: use in the kitchen
Italian Quinoa in a 180-gram package is an excellent base for vegetable salads and for boiled white meats. In particular, it lends itself very well to mixes with other legumes such as chickpeas, beans, and peas, along with dried fruits like cashews or pine nuts. It is also great with dehydrated cherry tomatoes from the Piennolo del Vesuvio DOP or with the classic Napolitan Pacchetella to give a more Mediterranean flavor.
TASTING
Quinoa has the unique characteristic of resembling grains both in taste and in its ability to produce flour with a very high starch content. It is often categorized alongside grains even though it is not completely one, as it does not belong to the grass family. For this reason, it is also referred to as a "pseudocereal".
