Franciacorta DOCG Brut Millesimato

The Monzio Compagnoni Franciacorta DOCG Brut Millesimato is one of the wonders that the territory of Franciacorta gifts us to continue to amaze, with an exceptional producer and the extraordinary bubbles of its wine.

Ideal for any occasion: alcohol content 12°, fresh and pleasant, it demonstrates an balance and softness that will improve day by day.

PROCESSING

After vinification, entirely carried out with pneumatic pressing of the whole grapes, the cuvee is created in the following spring. Here, 10 to 15% of wine aged for six months in barriques of 3° and 4° passage is added, along with the liquer de tirage. After the disgorgement, the bottle is dressed and undergoes a refinement of six months before marketing.

Franciacorta DOCG Brut Millesimato: use in the kitchen

The Franciacorta DOCG Brut Millesimato in a 750ml bottle perfectly accompanies elaborate dishes based on fish and white meats, for example, with sauces and broths, but without tomato.

TASTING

It has a color of full golden with a slight green hint, abundant foam and medium-fineness perlage. The aroma features hints of bread crust, biscuit, and dried fruit (toasted almond), joined by more delicate notes of golden apple and pear. The taste is very smooth and lingers long on the palate. The aftertaste is sharp and energetic. To be served not too cold, around 8 degrees.

Tasting notes

Di colore giallo oro pieno con leggero accenno verde, spuma abbondante e perlage di media finezza. Del profumo spiccano sentori di crosta di pane, di biscotto, di frutta secca (mandorla tostata) affiancati da quelli più delicati di mela golden e pera. Il sapore è molto morbido e riempie a lungo il palato. Il retrogusto è sferzante e grintoso. Da servire non troppo freddo, sugli 8 gradi.
