The Iron Cup pumpkin organic that we offer comes from a selection of products from the Veronese plains. River lands rich in silt and sand that give a special aroma and compactness as well as a good richness of minerals.
Of dark green color, the Iron Cup pumpkin is quite similar to the delica pumpkin but slightly heavier and with a later growing cycle. This type of pumpkin is a bit ribbed and mottled, a late hybrid of American origin, with a nearly round shape and slightly flattened at the poles. The orange flesh is sweet, very pleasant to the taste and suitable for many preparations in the kitchen.
In the kitchen, Iron Cup pumpkin is very versatile: great fried and sweet and sour, it is also ideal as a filling, and it cooks quickly in the oven.
