The Fontanavecchia winery carries out all its activities with scrupulousness and the utmost respect for the vineyards, the wine, and the people: from the management of the vineyards to winemaking, up to the bottling phases.
Grape variety: 100% Falanghina selected and harvested in crates
Vineyard training: guyot
Vineyard: altitude of 400 m a.s.l., with clayey soil with emerging limestone marls
Winemaking: cold maceration on skins for 8 hours, fermentation 10% in French oak barrels, 90% steel
Harvest period: second decade of October
Aging: 20% in French oak barrels for 6 months; 80% in steel
Year: 2015
Alcohol content: 14% vol.
