The Fontanavecchia winery conducts all its activities with scrupulous care and utmost respect for the vineyards, the wine, and the people: from vineyard management to winemaking, including the bottling phases.
Grape variety: 100% Falanghina selected and harvested in crates
Vineyard training system: guyot
Vineyard altitude: 300 m a.s.l., with a clayey soil with exposed limestone marls
Vinification: cold maceration on skins for 8 hours, fermentation 10% in French oak barrels, 90% in stainless steel
Harvest period: first decade of October
Aging: 20% in French oak barrels for 6 months; 80% in stainless steel
Year: 2008
Alcohol content: 14% vol.
