For your recipes, we offer you this small plant that will provide you with fresh parsley whenever you need it to enhance your creations in the kitchen or your dishes.
Parsley can be grown in the garden but also, very easily, in a pot. Its roots go quite deep, so it is advisable to buy a large and deep pot. This plant needs temperate climates and not very harsh conditions.
It should be placed in a preferably sunny area (in partial shade during the height of summer). Upon arrival, you can start gathering the parsley you need right away. It's important to remember to water it adequately and frequently (every day in small amounts so that the soil remains a bit moist but without excess waterlogging).
This plant is biennial, sown in October and can already be harvested in March. In June, it will need to be pruned to allow new leaves to grow back for a second time. Once cut, the plants regrow and produce new fresh leaves ready to be used in your kitchen.
The transplant should be done from February to March in a greenhouse and from April to August in a pot or in open fields, maintaining a distance of at least 15cm between rows. It is preferable to have full sun exposure; the plant reaches a height of 20cm.
Parsley is the king of herbs. It can be used in the vast majority of preparations in the kitchen, making your dishes even more delicious. It is also used for decorations because, as we know... the eye wants its part too!
Recommended for fish-based dishes but also to flavor and garnish grilled or pan-fried vegetables, soups, and broths.
It has digestive and diuretic properties and has very few calories. Its aroma stimulates the appetite and has an anti-anemic function.
