Ruber Veneto Classico IGT 2020 by Jako Wine is a harmonious and robust red wine, ideal as an accompaniment to noble foods.
Grape variety: Corvina, Merlot
Terroir: the soil, of morainic type, extends to the south of Lake Garda. The grapes used to produce this wine are grown in GDC on Trentino pergolas, with an average yield of 3.5 kg per plant.
Harvest period: between the end of September and the early part of October.
The grape harvest is done by hand. The ripest and perfectly healthy bunches are carefully selected. The grapes are dried in a fruit dryer under natural temperature and humidity conditions for about 3 months, depending on the climatic conditions. The dried grapes are destemmed and softly pressed. The pressed grape is inoculated with selected yeasts in steel containers.
The fermentation proceeds slowly at low temperature in order to effectively extract the color, tannins, and aromas from the skin. A part then matures under yeast in steel tanks, while another part is aged in barriques.

Aging potential: 6-8 years
Alcohol content: 16% vol.
Ruber Veneto Classico IGT 2020 by Jako Wine has a robust structure that pairs well with the most refined dishes and nobler foods, such as game and braised meats. Its strong yet refined character also makes it worthy of being enjoyed alone as a meditation wine.

The color is ruby red. The aroma presents a wide range of notes, initially suggesting blackberry jam and cherries in alcohol, and later hinting at notes of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, and cinnamon. The flavor is harmonious, enveloping, and smooth.
