Massimo Ronca's desire to start bottling the grapes of his father's company, which was founded in 1976, was born in 2006. It is located in a very interesting area, on the moraine hills southeast of Lake Garda in the municipality of Sona.
These are lands very rich in clays, limestone schists and sand deriving from the thrusts of the ancient glacier that covered Lake Garda. Excellent substrate for the typical grape varieties of the Custoza and Bardolino appellations.
Good pleasure, sapidity and consistency: the wines of Azienda Agricola Ronca
The result is wines that are very pleasant but at the same time with a good sapidity and a good consistency. Production is still limited to 50,000 bottles, despite the company having a property of about 20 hectares with a potential of about 250,000 bottles. The best grapes from the properties are therefore chosen, with a high selection in the vineyard.
