In 2006, Massimo Ronca's desire to start bottling the grapes from his father's company, which was established in 1976, was born. It is located in a very interesting area, on the moraine hills southeast of Lake Garda in the municipality of Sona. These lands are very rich in clays, limestone schists, and sands derived from the pushes of the ancient glacier that covered Lake Garda. An excellent substrate for the typical grape varieties of the Custoza and Bardolino denominations.
Good Pleasantness, Salinity, and Consistency: the Wines of Azienda Agricola Ronca
This results in wines of great pleasantness while also possessing a good level of salinity and a nice consistency. The production is still limited to 50,000 bottles, despite the company having around 20 hectares with a potential of about 250,000 bottles. Therefore, the best grapes are selected from the properties with high selection in the vineyard.
