Ca' Lustra Zanovello

Ca' Lustra Zanovello is much more than a winery; it is a journey that has lasted for more than 40 years in a land rich in history and character. Today, Franco, Marco, and Linda, along with 7 motivated collaborators, continue this family business with the same ethics, which now spans 42 hectares, of which 25 are vineyards.
The viticultural vocation of the Colli Euganei derives from their extraordinary geology, evident in the alternating generous volcanic soils and much drier marine sediments. This variability is met with patience and experience, field by field, with the dual purpose of safeguarding the natural environment and enhancing the specific “crus”.

For consistency and a palpable influence on the quality of the products, the producers have chosen since 2008 to practice organic farming in a territory that is, besides being a Natural Park founded in 1989, today also a Biodistrict and a candidate for Unesco MaB. In the large winery located at the foot of the mountain, we work according to the same principles: traditional winemaking with spontaneous fermentation, no clarification, and minimized use of sulfites.
