This winery today run by Alessandro Locatelli represents one of the historic realities of the Langhe. In particular, of the town of La Morra, which is about 170 years old. Since 1841 it has been producing and selling typical local wines. Mrs. Claudia Ferraresi, mother of Alessandro and nephew of Costamagna, took it over at the end of the sixties. Nebbiolo delle Langhe is the king of Italian grape varieties and the two types cultivated today are Lampia and Michèt. The form of breeding is always the guyot.
