The Château Lascombes vineyard covers 120 hectares of vineyards in the Margaux appellation and 10 hectares in the Haut-Médoc appellation. It is still today one of the largest vineyards in the Crus Classés from 1855.
The Château Lascombes vineyard occupies Margaux's most sought after parcels. Château Lascombes benefits from a variety of original land for the appellation. The vineyard is divided into three distinct groups, roughly equivalent in size: a gravelly rump, which carries Cabernets Sauvignon and Petit Verdots, clay gravel where Merlots and Cabernets Sauvignon are planted and finally clay-limestone plots in which Merlot expresses itself perfectly; in addition, this grape dominates half of the vineyard's vines, a &' originality compared to the other Margaux
