Olio Vigliotti

Olio Vigliotti is a family-run agricultural oil company that has been producing oil in the Basso Tavoliere for four generations, specifically in Cerignola, Puglia. It is managed by the Vigliotti family, and it all started with grandfather Cristofaro, who inherited the lands from his father Matteo and expanded the first olive grove. Then it passed into the hands of Matteo, Cristofaro's son, who, following his father's teachings, started a larger expansion with great ambition, dedication, and sacrifice, growing the family business.
Over the years, the results began to arrive, developing the sale of oil to private individuals and acquaintances, who, satisfied with the goodness and quality of the oil, became the first real customers.

In this wake, Cristian, Matteo's son and Cristofaro's grandson, currently leads the company assisted by his father. Cristian continues to innovate the company and since 2018 he has decided to propose and promote his oil. Driven by the desire to undertake a broader entrepreneurial plan, he decides to get involved and create a new business in line with modern times starting from the brand. Thus, Olio Vigliotti was born.

Olio Vigliotti comes from a work of extreme care for the raw material: the olive groves are treated just as they used to be and with the passion that our ancestors put into it. The olives are handpicked and milled within a few hours.
The monocultivar extra virgin olive oil Coratina is an enveloping and rustic oil with a bitter aftertaste and at the same time spicy in the final tasting. The main characteristic of Coratina is its high content of polyphenols, important natural antioxidants.

The packaging is a fundamental element for promoting a product today, especially to catch the attention of the most demanding consumers. And Cristian knows this well: that’s why the various oil packages have been carefully selected, paying attention to every single detail, in order to make everything more original and appealing. In addition to these, there is also a return to tradition: the gourmet favor, that is the ceramic jar. It is a unique package, hand-painted by Apulian ceramicists, born from the idea of giving something different that is not just an object for its own sake. The line of ceramic jars was created for those who love the more vibrant solutions without sacrificing a unique and inimitable design.
