The Cantina Rossi Daniele  is a small winemaking reality in Torgiano, in the province of Perugia, in Umbria, in the green heart of Italy.

Casale Villa Chiara is an ancient farmhouse restored and transformed into a welcoming and comfortable countryside residence with a garden, vineyard, olive grove, and swimming pool. Within the property, there is also a vineyard and an olive grove, through which high-quality Umbrian wine and oil are produced.

The main figure of the winery is Daniele Rossi "Viticoltore per Passione", a winemaker who signs the wines of the farmhouse with his own logo composed of D and R that outline the barrel you see on the labels.

The Vineyard extends over 4 hectares, cultivated without the use of chemical synthesis products, primarily where Sangiovese and Merlot are found, but also Chardonnay, Grechetto di Todi, and Trebbiano Spoletino.

The CRU of the Rossi Daniele winery is the Montescosso Rosso Umbria IGT, born from 70% Merlot and 30% Sangiovese grapes.

The Montescosso Vino Rosso Umbria IGT Torgiano is matured in oak barrels and subsequently aged in bottles, presenting an intense ruby red color, with a fruity aroma featuring hints of spices and blackberries, harmonious and of good structure.

It is the result of a soil with a good presence of clay and rich in skeleton, warm and permeable, allowing for the production of perfectly healthy, ripe, and excellent quality grapes.

It is an excellent red wine with notes of blackberries and forest fruits, surprising for its vegetal note, but especially for the sweet spices like cinnamon and vanilla, almost reminiscent of a Valpolicella wine.
