Tenute Lunelli: scopri i prodotti

Tenute Lunelli is a brand of the Lunelli Group. Here the artisans of the time work every day to give birth to elegant and long-lasting wines.
The Lunelli family has a history characterized by a strong oenological experience that spans generations. L&' viticultural excellence and the successes achieved with Trentodoc Ferrari have pushed the family towards a new project that stars a collection of high-quality still wines, an expression of three Italian wineries with a unique style: Tenuta Margon in Trentino, Tenuta Podernovo in Tuscany and Tenuta Castelbuono in Umbria.

Tenute Lunelli: a family passion

The project began in the Eighties with the creation of still wines in Trentino that capitalize on l&' experience gained over years and years of mountain viticulture with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Starting in the 2000s, l&' attention was paid to territories with a consolidated vocation for the production of great red wines. Conquered by the charm of the Tuscan coast, and in particular by the vineyard hill on which the &' ancient Casale Podernovo stands, the Lunelli start their Tuscan adventure by taking over forty hectares in the municipality of Terricciola.
In 2001, on the other hand, it was the turn of &' Umbria, an ancient and mystical land, in which a wine of great power and longevity captures &' attention of Lunelli: Sagrantino. The land in Bevagna and Montefalco was acquired, partly already under vines, where the Carapace will be built years later.

After decades of commitment, this widespread project of agriculture and life, of quality and beauty, is contained in the Tenute Lunelli brand, a seal chosen to describe the typicality of areas particularly suited to &' oenology through wines capable of reading their territory with depth, which have their distinctive feature in elegance and longevity.

A constant sustainable commitment for three generations

L&' winery has a close link with the territory, putting respect for L&' environment first. This is undoubtedly one of the strong values that has always distinguished the three generations of the Lunelli family.

Sustainability has become the foundation, foundation and creed of the family. Sustainability does not only mean the protection of &' the environment, but also the health of the winegrower and the quality of &' grape, and it is by combining these three factors that Tenuta Toscana Podernovo was the first company in the group to obtain organic certification in 2012. L&' then the Tenuta Umbra Castelbono followed two years later, starting with the 2014 harvest.
Finally, in 2017, the Trentino vineyards obtained organic certification, thus recognizing the firm cultivation principles of the protocol for “healthy and sustainable mountain viticulture”, which provides for paragraph' elimination of insecticides and herbicides
