The Taubenschuss family has been producing wine since 1670 and boasts hundreds of years of experience. They cultivate 20 hectares of vineyards located in the best areas of Poysdorf, one of the most representative towns of the DOC Weinviertel. Taubenschuss wines are very linear and expressive, have a strong character, and it is possible to sense the differences between the individual vintages. Besides the parents Helmut and Monika Taubenschuss, their children Thomas and Markus are also active in the business. The name Taubenschuss means "Dovecote," and at their home, one can admire a collection of dove-shaped artworks. The most representative wines are Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Bianco, produced in various types.
