Excellent Greco with a hint of freshness and intriguing acidity. Fruity notes of yellow peach and apricot. Floral with a pleasant iodine sensation of typical marine saltiness.
On the palate, it is salty, fresh with a finish of hazelnut and peanut. Rich and substantial with a nice touch of straightforwardness. A true Greco!
How to pair Greco del Sannio
An excellent fish wine for marinated fish, blue fish, fried shrimp and prawns. It also pairs well with pecorino or cow’s milk cheese, especially pasta filata types like canestrati.
Interesting also as an aperitif, better if accompanied by appetizers based on Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP and traditional Cilentano cold cuts.
