The Egg Durum Wheat Chitarrine from Pasta Santoni are a variety of long pasta handmade with 100% natural and non-GMO ingredients from the Marche region. The pasta is manually extruded as traditional methods dictate.
The use of genuine ingredients produced in-house allows for the transformation of semolina and always fresh eggs into a pasta that is completely different from others, in terms of color, flavor, and aroma.
The Chitarrine are crafted using the Santoni method: bronze-extruded and slowly dried at low temperatures, in order to preserve the organoleptic properties of the wheat and give the Chitarrine roughness and porosity so that they can better hold sauces.
