Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico “La Marogna” bio- Le Bertarole

The cru La Marogna bio is the most prestigious Amarone produced by the Venturini delle Bertarole family, and in the pure style of the valley from which the grapes come. The name La Marogna derives from the typical dry stone walls, the marogne, found in the Valpolicella Classica, which surround the vineyards and terraced fields. This particular cru is located in the sweet valley of Fumane where the wines smell of sour cherry and white pepper.

A gentle, cherry-flavored, slightly spicy Amarone with a nice smoothness and a distinct pleasantness. It is part of that category of Amarone that maintains substantial sobriety but intrigues with its taste harmony. It is an important wine that, however, boasts versatility characteristics making it effective with numerous foods.

Serving temperature: 13 - 15°C. Remember to open the bottle at least two hours in advance and to use tulip glasses with a nice width. Longevity: 10-15 years and more.

The blend includes 30% Corvina, 40% Corvinone, 20% Rondinella, 5% Croatina, 5% Oseleta.
