Natural suppressed 350g

Soppressata is an ancient cured meat from the southern Italian tradition, particularly from Puglia, Calabria, and Basilicata. It is produced with fresh ground pork. However, contrary to what one might think, it does not have the same composition as sausage; in fact, it contains 20% fat and 80% lean meat. Furthermore, Giannelli's soppressata, in pure Daunian style, contains sweet pepper, pepper, and honey as preservatives. It is aged for 60 days and is placed in a vice to take on this particular shape that ultimately serves to flatten it and make it easier to use on slices of bread in the southern or Apulian fashion with frise. It is completely free of preservatives and allergens. No lactose, no gluten.

Spicy salami is a cold cut that has a particular sweet component and a flavor linked to the scent of sweet pepper. A very intriguing cold cut with a nice spiced pepper component. It is very pleasant on typical thick-crust bread, perhaps from Altamura or Sicilian with sesame seeds. Excellent as an appetizer or to pair with quality pickled vegetables and marinated foods. It pairs very well with both still and sparkling white wines and with less structured red wines such as Nebbiolo, Barbera, or Valpolicella Classico.
