Roncha IGT Jeroboam
The Roncha IGT is a white wine whose grapes are grown in vineyards situated at various altitudes on the volcanic hill of Roncà (VR) (hence the original name Roncha), ranging from 250 meters for Garganega to 500 meters for Trebbiano.
It is made up of: 50% Garganega (of which 5% from dried grapes for 5/6 months), 20% Pinot Grigio, 20% Trebbiano from Soave, 10% Durella.
PROCESSING
To create the Roncha IGT, harvesting begins in late September for the Trebbiano from Soave and Garganega, continuing in mid-October for the Durella. The grapes are hand-picked, transported, and processed on the same day. Fermented and matured using different methods: from stainless steel containers to oak barrels.
