Riesling IGT Lagarder BIO 750ml

This organic Riesling carries with it all the beauty of Lake Garda and is one of the flagship products of the Agricultural Company Pratello in Padenghe sul Garda.

A clear white wine with golden and straw-colored hues, featuring strong olfactory emotions of exotic aromas and great freshness, demonstrating grapes matured in the field, with great natural intensity and good density per vine that only BIO cultivation can provide.

CHARACTERISTICS

Composition: 100% Riesling grapes. Cultivation: at a height of 250 meters, on the Moraine hills of Lake Garda where it enjoys ideal exposure and a constant ventilation that allows for perfect ripening. Soil: very loose and stony. Cold maceration (8°C) of the destemmed grapes for 48 hours; then soft pressing, transferred to steel barrels where the fermentation is initiated, lasting about 15 days at 17°C. Then back in steel for 4 months and after in bottle resting for 6 months. Alcohol content: 12°.

The Riesling IGT Lagarder 2015 Pratello is a wine that pairs well with white dishes, both meat and fish, as well as with "smoked" dishes, such as risotto with smoked cheeses and speck, and similar dishes. It pairs well with creamy meats, such as cheese scaloppine, thin slices pizzaiola style, chicken with green olives, hare with pickled vegetables, and others, depending on personal taste and regional culture.

TASTING

Color golden yellow, deep straw yellow, distinctly clear, stands out for its spectacular visual cleanliness. Explosion of exotic fragrances, clean and pure. In the mouth, it feels like a silk fabric, fresh, pleasant, enveloping the oral cavity with sensations of ripe grapes and Tunisian mango. Perfect balance between sweet, salty, sour, and bitter. To be served at a temperature of 10/12°C in a large tulip-shaped glass.
