The Cutrera family, to obtain this extraordinary artisanal marmalade, cooks the fruit in a low-pressure and low-temperature pot (60°C) to preserve the nutritional characteristics and natural aromas of the lemons. This allows the marmalade to have an enveloping fragrance and a balanced taste between sweet and the characteristic bitterness.
The Femminello lemon is an important cultivar, also known as Syracuse IGP Lemon, and it is one of the most representative in Italy. An interesting fact: the name "Femminello" comes from the high fertility of this variety of lemons that blooms throughout the year.
