In particular, orange blossom honey is produced by bees from the orange blossom. It presents a very light color, leaning towards a dim straw yellow. It tends to spontaneously crystallize a few months after being extracted, assuming a color veering towards dirty white.
The underlying aroma is floral, reminiscent of the scent of orange blossoms, as are the taste notes, which release slightly sour citrus notes typical of the southern sun.
Honey has no expiration date: in fact, in some tombs of Ancient Egypt, intact jars of honey have been found. However, to make the most of its nutritional characteristics and aromas, it is best to consume it within two years of opening.
