The term Oolong means Black Dragon or Black Snake, and it is also called blue tea or qing. An ancient legend tells that while the owner of a tea plantation was visiting his property, he saw a black snake. He was so frightened that only after a few days did he have the courage to return, and he noticed that the leaves had oxidized in the sun. From their infusion, he obtained a delicious beverage.
