The casciatelli are a typical product of Molise prepared by farming families during the Easter period, which is the time of year when there is the greatest availability of eggs and cheese.
Known as fiadoni in Abruzzo, casciatelli are delicious little pastry pockets filled with cheese and eggs that can be served either as an appetizer or as a main course.
