The cheese Baronerosso drunken goat cheese with Barbera from La Casearia Carpenedo is a unique cheese. The noble art of Antonio Carpenedo in the drunkenness of cheese could not "spare" that of goat and he used a noble wine that pays homage to the great region of Piedmont: Barbera.
The Baronerosso has a harmonious appearance that impresses. The gentle curves of the heel and the basket-weave texture stand out in ruby red. The Barbera pomace dominates the rind and the cheese is uniform, perfect, with a bright white color.
As proof of the skill and quality, in November 2014 Antonio Carpenedo received, for the goat Baronerosso, the silver medal at the World Cheese Awards in its category and was the first among the Italians in the competition. A recognition of the passion and love for pursuing excellence and quality.

The cheese Baronerosso drunk goat cheese infused with Barbera by La Casearia Carpenedo (which we present here in a 300g portion) offers a refined elegance of dark fruit that envelops the pronounced character of goat's milk. Mineral notes. The aftertaste is persistent and pleasant. Undoubtedly a meditation cheese, to be enjoyed alongside a Barbera or a Burgundy red.
The Baronerosso has a semi-hard texture, with unique characteristics due to the changing properties of the paste under the effect of Barbera wine. Intense and rich on the nose, it is at the same time concentrated and harmonious: flowers and young fruits gradually give way to the typical notes of goat's milk, balanced by the drunkenness method. Notes of hay and spices.
Note di fieno e spezie.
