Made from at least 75% Mela Rosa from the Sibillini Mountains, this compote has been sweetened with a low percentage of sugar (about 25%).
The Mela Rosa of the Sibillini is traditionally cultivated in the Marche above 450 meters in altitude. The peculiar climatic conditions of the Sibillini Mountains area, primarily the daily and seasonal temperature variation, positively influence the organoleptic characteristics of the product, making it unique and absolutely different from the fruit grown in the plains. For more than ten years, the Mela Rosa of the Sibillini Mountains has been a Slow Food Presidio.
