The Pinot Grigio Cru Ronco Calaj from Cantine Russolo is a high-quality white wine, produced with the extraordinary grapes grown in the Ronco Calaj vineyard located in the wide flat area of San Quirino, a small municipality in the province of Pordenone in Friuli Venezia Giulia. In fact, Ronco Calaj is the first and also the largest vineyard of this producer.
This wine is characterized by a straw-yellow color. The aroma is extremely characteristic and features notes of white-fleshed fruit and acacia flowers; when young, it may also display fermentative aromatic notes. The taste is elegant, fruity, and well-structured, with a good balance between acidity and aromaticity and a long and persistent finish.
Alcohol content: 12.5-13% vol.
The Pinot Grigio Cru Ronco Calaj from Cantine Russolo is ideal for an aperitif but also to accompany appetizers based on raw ham and fresh cheeses. It is really excellent also with light soups and fish dishes. It pairs perfectly with white meats as well. The ideal serving is done at a temperature of about 10-12°C and the recommended type of glass is a tall and narrow goblet.
