This Irish Red Ale by FACCIdabere is a truly surprising craft beer! It is a type of beer that seems Irish, but industry critics consider it a style-not-style. The version by Silvia Facci, her second creation, aims to be a beer that goes down quite easily, thus with a low alcohol content.
Color ranging from amber to copper, ivory foam, persistent. Roasted aroma, notes of caramel, toffee. On the palate, the sweetness of the malts predominates, balanced by a faint bitterness, with a dry finish. Top-fermented, unpasteurized and unfiltered, without dyes or preservatives.
FACCIdabere is the brand of a young girl from Verona, Silvia Facci, who is one of the first 17 female beer producers in Italy. A distinctly feminine interpretation of the craft beer world.
The Irish Red Ale by FACCIdabere (which we present here in a 500ml bottle) is a perfect beer for an aperitif. With its intense flavor and low alcohol content, it certainly brightens up the moment before a meal, especially with its dry finish that leaves a craving for a snack right afterward.
We recommend pairing it with yogurt or Greek-style salads, or a platter with Milano salami or, even better, a fennel salami from central Italy. What is the perfect second course to pair with it? The roast pork with potatoes! Try it to believe it.
