It is a cold cut produced artisanally with 100% Italian pork from Lazio, sourced directly from the farm, without the use of colorings, gluten-free, and suitable for those with celiac disease, naturally lactose-free and without allergens.
The Lombetto is aged for over 2 months and is obtained from boneless loin, seasoned, and hand-wrapped. A cold cut with a unique and unmistakable flavor, a pleasant aroma, a marbled appearance, and low fat content.
The aged Lombetto from Fattoria Lepini is excellent to enjoy between two slices of warm bread, but it can also be eaten served drizzled with a bit of extra virgin olive oil and perhaps accompanied by shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano and salad leaves.
Naturally, its ideal setting is in classic mixed cold cuts and cheese dishes. To be served as an appetizer during the most social moments of a lunch or dinner, maybe accompanied by bread or focaccia.
