The BIO Sorghum Caserecce by Bontasana are made only of water and sorghum, dried at low temperatures for 21 hours to preserve their nutritional properties and slightly whole grain flavor.
It is a rustic and authentic shape capable of enhancing the robustness of sorghum: it concentrates the flavor and will give structure to all your sauces, even the most delicate. The surface is rough, perfect for absorbing light or creamy sauces.
Sorghum is less known than quinoa and rice despite having interesting nutritional values, not only for its antioxidant content but also for minerals and fibers. Additionally, unlike other pseudo cereals, it contains no sugars.
Bontasana pasta does not overcook and remains intact even the next day. Each shape doubles in weight and volume: for this reason, the recommended average raw portion is 60 grams.
