Corte Sant’Alda is a splendid reality of the Veronese hills in the Valle di Mezzane. Always biodynamic, it is the natural expression of the thought of a great woman and interpreter of Italian enology. Marinella Camerani was named Best Winemaker in Italy in 2009 by Gambero Rosso, but her simplicity and concreteness remain substantial qualities of her success. Marinella has an intimate relationship with her vineyards and loves the wild land where she has chosen to make her home and raise her family. Her wines, so elegant and pure, embody the spirit of these gentle hills that remained unexplored for years. A life intense and courageous, that of Marinella, is told in a novel, “With the Earth in My Hands,” published by Cierre, which takes place among the properties. Her wines are an act of love and respect for nature in the pursuit of the strength and energy that are the heritage of the land.
Excellent dessert wine to enhance every sentiment of pleasure and sharing. It can be paired with 60-70% dark chocolate, dry chocolate cookies, or spiced cookies. Great for red fruit tarts, sweet cherries, blackberries, or blueberries.
