Red Pecorino di Pienza 300g
It is a typical cheese from Tuscany, made from hard paste and obtained from pasteurized sheep's milk. It takes its name from the ancient Renaissance town of Pienza in the province of Siena created by Pope Pius II. Here, around the sienese clay hills, the pastures are poor but ideal for sheep. This version is red because it is colored with tomato juice. Its maturation is 30 days. The cheese has a lot more flavor with a nice sweet and slightly spicy component.
