The enological history of the Mancini family begins at the end of the nineteenth century with the construction of the first winery in San Polo and the cultivation of the first vineyards of the Podere della Filandra, and then continues with the subsequent acquisitions of the Tenute di Campriano and Muciafora, the most recent property. Already starting from 1926, the family immediately committed to the production of Chianti doc, using only cement tanks.
Today, the business is managed by Anastasia, Alessia, and Roberta Mancini, daughters of Amadio who, after years alongside their father, had to inherit his role, perhaps too soon for their liking. Thanks to their father's teachings and the deep furrows he has traced, they follow in his footsteps every day, each with their own inclinations, to give substance to the business goals.
