The apricots of Vesuvius cultivated by Pasquale are the crisommole. A particular name that comes from an ancient classification by Gian Battista della Porta who, in 1584, classified the Campanian apricots into two groups: Bericocche and Chrisomele. The latter took their name from the Greek chrisomelos, meaning golden apples.
Crisommole are very special apricots because they have flesh that is not attached to the pit and a very sweet and aromatic flavor, making them a decidedly precious fruit. On the slopes of Vesuvius, Pasquale currently produces about 100 varieties of apricot, thanks mainly to the incredible biodiversity that this territory still offers.
To ensure selected and rare products, we have chosen to offer our customers the juice of this special apricot: an extraordinary nectar with unique pleasure and balance. The juice contains 66% fruit, fructose, and water.
