Superior category olive oil obtained directly from olives and solely through mechanical procedures.
The base oil is Italian extra virgin olive oil.
The aroma is heated in the oil to about 40 - 60 degrees for a few minutes in order to extract only the essential oils and not to destroy the integrity of the oil's fragrances.
Rosemary is of Tuscan and Sicilian origin. Excellent for seasoning pasta with tomato and for roasting white meats. To be gently melted over cuts of red meat and baked potatoes. Good also on savory vegetable pies.
