The cherry tomato is one of the most typical food reserves of Sicily, particularly from the area of Pachino where they have settled and found the best possible habitat to grow. They have a significant level of sweetness that allows them to offer particularly flavorful and creamy sauces. A portion of the tomatoes used is lightly sun-dried in Sicily and by the sea breeze rich in salt. A unique combination that can only happen in the magical land of Sicily.
Ingredients: Cherry Tomato, Gran Cru Tonda Iblea extra virgin olive oil, basil, sea salt from Sicily.
The Cherry Tomato Ready Sauce by Frantoi Cutrera is ideal for making a great pasta dish with tomato. It already contains extra virgin olive oil owned by Frantoi Cutrera from Gulfi in Sicily.
Just heat it for two minutes and add it directly to the pasta, then sauté everything in the pan, adding fresh basil. Perfect with all types of pasta (spaghetti, paccheri) and fresh pasta (cavati, tagliatelle). Great for seasoning (pizza, side dishes, meat or fish main courses).
