Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut

The production technique using the Charmat method is the one normally used for obtaining Prosecco Superiore wine.

In this case, the alcoholic component is not very pronounced and remains at values of 11-12% Vol.

The amount of sugars is 7g/l. A Brut therefore very typical of these lands that, in the Asolano area, offers wines with good structure and aromatic complexity.

Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut: How is it produced

Giusti Wine, Veneto

The name Asolo is part of the area with Valdobbiadene and Conegliano, known for its high quality. The Glera from these territories is indeed used to produce Prosecco of the Superiore and DOCG types. The Giusti company owns seven vineyards on the Montello slope in the municipality of Asolo, at an altitude of about 250 meters. Their names are: Maria Vittoria, Aria Valentina, Abazia, Amelia, Emily, Ava, and Sienna. They are generally rich in clays and limestone in depth.

This Prosecco Superiore has great personality, and the Brut version is the one that best interprets these Asolo lands.

Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut: use in the kitchen

This Brut expresses all the typicity of the Asolane lands. Lands that offer greater glyceric structure and roundness while maintaining a nice fruity component, of apple and citrus. The pleasant floral sensation on the nose extends the enjoyment and verticality of the product. The bubbles are creamy, fine, and well integrated. Typical finish with a clear sensation of pear and apple with a light almond component. To be paired with raw and grilled seafood. With noble cold cuts of Italian tradition and medium-aged cheeses, especially from cow's milk. Its dry character pairs well with pasta dishes and vegetable creams. To be tried with bresaola carpaccio.

Alcohol content: 11.5% vol.
