Pinot Grigio obtained from a vineyard located in the Rolando estate in the municipality of Nervesa della Battaglia. A medium-textured soil with a good presence of draining skeleton typical for this type of grape. The wine undergoes only steel fermentation logically to keep all its characteristics of freshness and typical fragrance intact.
Another typical wine of the culture and popular tradition of Venetian cuisine. The Pinot Grigio, which always comes from French lands, has found among the eastern hills of Veneto the best production areas. In Nervesa della Battaglia, there is a particularly extraordinary vineyard called Longheri, which is dedicated to the production of this grape and offers a wine of great personality in its straightforwardness and simplicity.
The Pinot Grigio from the hills of Asolo and Montello is a wine that retains all the fruity characteristics of Williams pear, golden apple, and peach typical of this grape variety. A beautiful floral and aromatic component with sensations of nettle and white flowers. Great freshness on the palate with a clear salinity and good glyceric consistency and wrap with a slightly almondy finish with nuances of yellow citrus.
Excellent wine to pair with seafood and traditional Venetian dishes such as Baccalà mantecato, spaghetti with clams, Moeche cò el pien, and in general with shellfish and crustaceans. Also great with blue fish and grilled sardines in flor de sal. It can also be paired with fresh goat's milk cheeses.
