The lemon thyme plant is of easy cultivation and finds its ideal environment in gardens, in a sunny position or at least in partial shade.
It can reach a height of 40-50 cm. It does not require a particular soil, as long as it is dry and well-drained, thus with a high quantity of sand. In fact, lemon thyme does not tolerate water stagnation and should be watered only when the soil is dry.
Although it appears to be a delicate plant, it is very robust and can survive for quite some time without water. It can be transplanted from March to the end of July.
